The holidays are here.   It’s amazing what a year can do. 2020 holiday season we didn’t have a vaccine available to everyone and this year we are fortunate to have it available.

Festivals and Expos

Snowport at Seaport–European-style holiday market 100 small businesses including local craftsmen, artisans, and entrepreneurs selling unique gifts and wares. SOWA WinterFestival– December 3rd-12th of December You’ll find the perfect handmade gifts, sip on winter cocktails, and discover the best of the SoWa Art + Design District. Shop from 100 of the region’s best makers and specialty food vendors in the SoWa Power Station which is transformed into a local and unique marketplace. Santa Visits Jackson with Jingle Bell Chocolate Tour Sleigh Ride Nov 28th 430-6 pm -Santa will sit on his sleigh and happily hear all about what each child wishes for Christmas.  Santa will be sure to have a special treat for each of the children he meets.  Lisa DuFault will be taking photos that she will load up on our website for mom and dad to download for their use.  There is no charge for photos or treats.

Gift of Lights at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon Experiences the wonderful display of LED lights on this two-mile-long drive through the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.  This is one of the Christmas Events that you don’t want to miss. There are hundreds of displays that everyone will enjoy no matter the age.  The hours are 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm.  The opening day will be on Dec. 10^th.  Ticket prices are $15 Mon-Thurs and $20 Fri-Sun. and Holidays.  Gift of Lights is closed on Dec 25th.

Ho-Ho-Hobo Santa Express holiday spirit by riding the Ho-Ho-Hobo Santa Express Train in Lincoln.  Enjoy an 80 minute round trip ride along the Pemigewasset River down to the Jack O’Lantern Resort south of Woodstock.  There are plenty of activities for the children.  These include writing a letter to Santa and meeting him. While riding on the holiday express you can enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. Holiday Express trains run every weekend from Nov. 24th until Dec. 23rd.

Christmas in Wolfboro Parade November 27th, 3 pm-4 pm A view of the entire parade is available from either side of Main Street, from in front of Carpenter School heading North to Mill Street. Santa Claus arrives in the Parade! Santa will use his magic to light Wolfeboro’s Community Christmas Tree immediately following the Parade.
