HarwichPort Stroll: This will get you into the holiday mood. Kick off December with the annual tree lighting and local chorus group. After the illumination, stroll through Harwichport, shop local storefronts, and enjoy a few holiday treats. Great fun for young and old. – December 1, 530pm- 830pm Doane Park

Provincetown Holly Folly Weekend: Holly Folly is Provincetown‘s annual LGBTQ+ holiday-themed festival. Get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping and support local businesses! There will be fabulous entertainers throughout the weekend, a holiday market, Jingle Bell Run and Champagne Brunch (a Santa run in bathing suits), dance parties, sing-alongs, and drag bingo, to name a few. It’s always a fabulous time!

Padanaram Holiday Stroll: Embrace the holiday spirit by engaging in various festive activities, including the enchanting moments of tree lighting and exploring the offerings of local shops. The Brewster Band Annual Holiday Concert– 15th annual Brewster Band Holiday Concert. Sponsored by Gibson Sotheby’s and hosted by Hosted by the Brewster Baptist Church, 1848 Main Street. Admission is free, and free-will donations are accepted to benefit Emerald Hollow Therapeutic Riding Center, this year’s recipient of Brewster for the Holidays fundraising.

Boston Common Tree Lighting– On November 30th, Boston will ceremoniously light the Annual Tree, generously gifted by The Province of Nova Scotia in gratitude for Boston’s support during the 1917 Halifax Explosion. This tradition, initiated in 1971, has been a significant source of pride for a neighbor to the north. Join the festivities on November 30 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Boston Common, featuring music, live performances, and more.
North End Stroll– 16th Annual North End Holiday Shop & Stroll: Friday, December 1, 2023, from 5-9 pm in Boston’s North End. Meet Santa. Fifteen independently-owned shops, boutiques, and galleries, innovative pop-ups, food, drink, and entertaining festivities that will kick off the holiday season in style! Secure your Espresso martini and gather your BFF to create lasting memories! Prepare for a delightful experience with shopping, strolling, sipping, and snacking amidst exclusive holiday cheer.

Light up the Seaport- Light up the seaport with a Seaport stroll. Shop, sip, and stroll across the neighborhood, enjoying exclusive holiday deals at your favorite Seaport stores. Don’t forget to check out The Current to shop the latest round of unique pop-ups, and stop by The Superette, Seaport’s destination for the seriously delightful. From 6-9 pm, soak up some holiday singing from Boston Children Choral—Tree Lighting on Seaport Common at 730pm. Commencing at 6 pm, the festive experience gracefully unfolds, extending seamlessly until 9 pm and providing an abundance of enjoyable time for all.
Chatham Christmas Stroll: Embark on a brief stroll from the Inn and immerse yourself in the annual tradition of the festive community event, The Chatham Christmas Stroll, unfolding throughout the weekend of December 8 – 10. To kick off the festivities on Friday, December 8, become part of the luminous parade from Carmine’s Pizza to Kate Gould Park, culminating in the enchanting annual tree lighting ceremony with Santa. There will be carolers, entertainment, and festive characters throughout Main Street. The stroll continues through the weekend with all the shops, restaurants, and businesses open and bustling with holiday cheer featuring pop-up shops, sales, and more.

Newburyport Holiday House Tour – Newburyport Holiday House Tour, a fundraiser supporting the Anna Jaques Hospital Aid Association, is this Saturday, December 9, from 10 am to 4 pm. Purchase tickets online or in-person at the Anna Jaques Hospital Gift Shop or Chococoa Baking Co. & Café at The Tannery Marketplace. Pick up your tour book at the Newburyport Senior Center at 331 High Street, where a Holiday Gift Market and Winter Wreath auction will fully swing with live music and refreshments. The self-guided tour allows you to enjoy the full range of homes and outdoor décor in whatever order.

Christmas Tree Places
Seaport District: At the Tree Market, you can pick out your tree and have it delivered. They can help set up and remove your tree as needed. Feel free to inquire if you’re curious about the extent of their delivery range. Metro Boston residents can carefully select trees, gather Christmas decorations, and prepare for the festive centerpiece’s arrival.

The Tree Market will be in Seaport from November 17 through December 23.
Beacon Hill- Kelly Christmas Tree. It is ideal for anyone who lives in the Beacon Hill area. Located at 3 Bowdoin Street, Boston, MA 02124. Most days, the tree place opens at 10 am. Despite no delivery, they’ll strive to help.
Boston Christmas Trees– Family-owned and Veteran-owned. There are two heartwarming aspects to buying your Christmas tree. Located in Allston. For small local deliveries, inquire if needed. Located at 22 Harvard Avenue in Allston. Most days, they are open at 8 am and close at 10 pm.
Outside The City
Christmas Tree Lot– Located in Lexington, MA, on Mass Ave at 755. Follen Church has transformed its parking lot into a charming Winter Wonderland, with fragrant balsam fur Christmas Trees for sale. Our trees are grown by Alden Mingo of Mingo’s Products out of Calais, Maine, and they are free-range and sustainably sourced.
Most days, it opens at 3 pm and closes at 7 pm. Weekend hours are a bit different.
Crow Farm Sandwich– located along scenic Route 6A, this family-owned and operated farm sells Christmas trees, wreaths, locally grown produce, and locally made baked goods.

Cobb Webb Farm: Come to this local farm in West Barnstable to pick up pre-cut Fraser Firs and wreaths from Vermont and stay to enjoy a holiday hayride. They serve hot cider and cookies baked in their antique Glenwood stove.

Coonamessett Farm- A Cut-Your-Own Christmas Tree farm open from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve on weekends. Make cutting down your Christmas Tree your family’s new favorite holiday tradition.
